A Worldwide Missionary Broadcast was held by members of the Missionary Executive Council to provide instruction and support to the Lord's 70,854 missionaries. Elder Dallin H. Oaks, Elder David A. Bednar and Elder Neil L. Anderson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles were featured, along with Sister Bonnie L. Oscarson, YW General President, Brother W. Christopher Waddell from the Presiding Bishopic, Brother Brent H. Nielsen of the Seventy and Brother Stephen B. Allen, Managing Director of the Missionary Dept.
